Hundreds of Porcelain roses, some made by yours truly! Some pictures of Laura O’Hagan’s ceramic piece for the ‘Bricks in the Rain’ exhibition at Farmleigh House, Phoenix Park in October 2012.

Screen capture from my phone of a picture I took of the porcelain roses that we helped ceramic artist Laura O Hagan make

A beautiful idea by the well known ceramic and Mosaic artist Laura O’Hagan. I was privileged to meet her and spend some time in her gorgeous studio to help make up some of these roses. I really enjoyed getting stuck in and seeing the number of finished roses grow and grow. The image here with the icons on it is a screen grab from my phone – an image I snapped of the roses pre-kiln, lined up on boards.

A selection of the flowers pre-exhibition. This is an image I found on Laura's Facebook page - there's a link below.

Laura’s also makes stunning mosaics and they are a testament to patience, love of colour and dedication. They are particularly beautiful, and I suggest you take a look!
