An Awesome Book

Ok, this book comes the most recommended anything can come recommended from me, personally! Emma sent me a link to a webpage that goes through page by page of the book some time ago and I instantly fell in love. I poured over the pages on my screen multiple times admiring it and just knew that I had to own it in print. I take it out and admire it with shiny eyes every so often, and it is so beautiful – and worth every penny.

The book is ‘An Awesome Book’ by Dallas Clayton.

How cute is that? The story goes on and on and on too, and the illustration is just so lovely. It wants us to mourn briefly for all of the dreams that went to the dream-etary, and to awknowledge that people get caught up in other peoples dreams – that we must take this and DREAM BIGGER!!!!! To do them justice, to pay homage to the lost dreams!!!! WE !! Must dream big. Ahh, love it so much!

You can view the whole book here, on the Awesome Book website. The last page is so beautiful it’s not even funny –
I saw there on returning to the site that there is a new book, called the Awesome Book of Thanks! I will have to have a look into this one ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce you to this amazing book – and suggest that you consider it as a gift for someone young in your life. The message of this book is so important, to dream big – to not get caught up in other people’s dreams, and to think of new, amazing things that have never been thought of before!!! It is such an important message, and it is something that I have not seen touched on in any other media or form – it is mostly AVOIDED in all other media and forms wanting you to be just like us or hey do this be like us type thing. Children are surrounded with mundane activities and ideas and the sad worlds of their parents businesses and the likes of Bratz dolls to look forward to when they get a bit older. … Eugh! I think everyone in the whole world should do the next generation a favour and use this book as a starting point to hug their brain! I have mine stashed away for my future Vici’s anyway!

As far as I can tell this book has been hugely popular for Christmas and cannot be delivered on time – with new orders being delivered in late December or early January. You can buy it at a discounted rate in a box of ten – which might be worth considering if you know a lot of young folk and if you are minted! (Hah!) Not only will you be giving it to someone YOU personally love and want to dream big, but you will be giving a copy to someone you don’t know, to help them dream big too, because —-

The Awesome World Foundation is a registered 501c3 charity, established in 2009 by Dallas Clayton in partnership with Awesome World llc.

The foundation was formed in an effort to promote children’s literacy by encouraging kids to dream and dream often. The foundation’s goal is to donate one book for every copy of An Awesome Book sold by Awesome World llc. Books are delivered directly and distributed to schools, hospitals, libraries, camps and shelters both domestically and worldwide.
